DescriptionWe present a simple, efficient, and reliable approach to denoising final ray traced renders during VFX production. Seeking to remove all noise can result in excess blurring, so instead we combine several simple steps that dramatically reduce noise. Our approach preserves fine details, and has been effective on major productions.
