During a road trip with my dad as a youngster, he dropped me off at SIGGRAPH which led to my discovery of an amazing conference and community that cemented my future path.

I was a psychology major when I attended my first SIGGRAPH. I was so blown away by all of the content and opportunities. Needless to say, I changed majors.

With over 25 SIGGRAPH conferences, I have hundreds of cherished memories.

SIGGRAPH 1996 in New Orleans - an amazing time in an amazing town. It's incredible to think of how much computer graphics has evolved.

I attended my first conference as a stop motion animator interested in learning about CG and Motion Control. This launched a new career.

As a freshman student in college, my first SIGGRAPH was overwhelming. I didn’t understand anything but I knew I needed to come back for more.

We had a blast working through the night setting up computers, tables, and signage to get the Studio ready for hoards of people.

SIGGRAPH 2008 was the start of my career in the industry. Grateful to have my beginning as a student volunteer 10 years ago!

My first SIGGRAPH was instrumental in helping me land on the path to my dream job.

It was overwhelming and mind-blowing, and I knew I wanted to come back.

SIGGRAPH instantly became a focal point in my professional development; whenever I need direction, information, or inspiration, SIGGRAPH provides it.

I was an student volunteer who had just started learning animation. It was the best experience of my life and I've never looked back!

At my first SIGGRAPH I was introduced to a community of industry colleagues who encouraged open conversation and I discovered an environment designed for learning, growing and making meaningful connections.
